MONDAY PLUGIN

And so begins a new weekly series on DRINKMUSIK, MONDAY PLUGIN. Each week we will scour the interwebz for cool new toys to use in production, DJing and so much more. The net is FULL of sites that provide free VSTs and DXis and the such, and we thought it pertinent to let all of our readers have easy access. There are also really useful ones that might cost a fee, and we will cover some of those as well.

This week:

GLITCH

Sadly only available for Windows (they have some tips for Mac users), Illformed's Glitch will change the way you think of real-time processing. It is an effects sequencer, with 9 different effects: Tapestop, Modulator, Retrigger, Shuffler, Reverser, Crusher, Gater, Delay and Stretcher. Each can be applied to a different part of your loop/sample/pattern at random or through a sequencer manually. Check out this great demo video:

So make sure you visit the site and download yourself a copy for free HERE. This might be the little edge your grooves have been waiting for!

Don't forget that if you see any cool new plugins or other devices that can be used to have fun with sound, let us know by sending an email to drinkmusik@gmail.com
Plus, we would love to hear any tunes from our readers using the plugins we feature, so use the DropBox at the top of the page!
