Punky Blaster
Punky Blaster from France sent us this sweeeeet remix of Positif by Mr. Oizo. I think the original is friggin awesome, but I always thought it could have worked well with more of a punch-to-the-face drum kit. Apparently that's what these guys thought too! There's been a slew of remixes to this track - Vektorkat, LFO, Mr. Flash to name a few good ones - this one's definitely among my favorites. I like beats that sound like a synthesizer being raped. Or doing Karate.Mr. Oizo - Positif (Punky Blaster re-blast)

History of the Boombox
"Before iPods (or even CDs) there were boomboxes. It's been 20 years since they disappeared from the streets, but the nostalgia they evoke is about more than stereo equipment. We've changed the way we listen to music — and to each other. Watch a video about the history of the boombox."

New Goldfrapp March 22nd
So I seem to be one of the last to know, but apparently Goldfrapp is releasing their new album "Head First" end of next month. "Rocket" is the first release - and I'm hoping the whole album isn't built up on that so fashionably retro 80's style. The aerobics training video kind. The Van Damme montage kind (I swear, listen to it!). She'll be successful with it. Drunk Europeans will go crazy for that shit. Me tinks the economy might have taken its toll on Mrs. G-to-tha-frizzle. Waiting on the rest of the album. Alas, here's the tracklist:01. Rocket (Find it on HypeM)
02. Believer
03. Alive
04. Dreaming
05. Head First
06. Hunt
07. Shiny And Warm
08. I Wanna Life
09. Voicething
Deux Helix - The Theta Mind Oscillations
We were introduced to Deux Helix last year through three hard hitting tracks that we then shared with you (remember!!). Features four new tracks of their own, my personal favorite being their Peanut Club remix for Noob & Brodinski. Electro Coffee Table
Renouned designer and engineer Moritz Waldemeyer teamed up with interior design team Wallpaper to create an eye-popping, futuristic home disco accessory. Out came a coffee table/iPod dock, with an integrated "Haze Machine" that poops lasers and smoke, turning the whole thing into a dancing cage. Giggity giggity.

The Asspeaker
From Yanko Design - Designers Younes Daneshvar and Javad Yazdani came up with this baby. Connected through bluetooth, the big butt is the subwoofer and control station. Separate the cheeks of the smaller butt and you've got yourself some speakers. Tap the big butt to turn it on/off. When activated, the cheek will light up red for a few seconds. Rub the cheek to adjust the volume.
Having one of these would completely change the way I listen to music. Everything I'd play would be based on who I'd most want to hear singing out of an ass. I'd have to buy shitloads of music.
