Butch

Butch seemed to just come out of nowhere. He hasn't really. He's been around for a good 3 years, just kind of hid out somewhere until it was his time. He's had some great acts remix some of his tracks along the line, including Format:B and Popof. Someone showed me the Crackpot 823 Remix to his song "Earth" (buy it) a while back and I was blown away by that trippy recurring delayed clave sound. It's like a million-$-line, not the Tony Montana kind. Wow that was lame. Well, after 69 releases and many, many great tracks this guy is a fast established force to be reckoned with. No doubt we'll be hearing more of him, I certainly hope we do.
